GDPR Data is hosted in GDPR compliant servers in the EU, always private and never used to train AI. Site license University of Turku has provided a site license to all of its users.

This page helps University of Turku users get started with Avidnote, and includes onboarding videos plus support contacts. Avidnote is an AI tool for researchers developed in Sweden. It enables researchers to read, write, and analyze with AI.

How to log in to Avidnote

1. 1 Go to the login page: https://app.avidnote.com
2. 2 At the bottom, click Sign in with SSO.
3. 3 Enter your University of Turku email. You will be redirected to the University of Turku login page.
4. 4 After successful university login, you will be redirected back to Avidnote to complete the sign up.

Avidnote Update – New features

Important update

The first onboarding video was recorded before the latest product update. Since then, Avidnote now includes more features: you can chat with multiple papers, write with real references from the files you attach, analyze data, and work in a more integrated workspace where everything is in one place.
